Where's Lord Ganesh?

He is in the other 330 million, these are deities w/o dicks.

@St-Sinner True...he lost his head...not his dick. But he's such a charming, relatable guy. If I were to choose a god to worship....he'd be my boy.

@pamagain

The grass is green on the other side. In other cultures, the people leaving religion are disgusted because they have seen the ugly up close and think Christianity is clean, rich, churches are clean and not primitive like their religions.

Ganesh's story is he is guarding his mother while taking a shower and Ganesh (a full human boy) is protecting the hut. His father Lord Shiva shows up after many years and wants to go inside. He has no idea that he has a son. Go figure. When Ganesh says you can't go in, Lord Shiva cuts his head off and when his wife comes out and starts screaming, he panics and happens to see a baby elephant walking by. He cuts the baby elephant's head and does a quick open air head transplant surgery and makes the new Ganesh. Now to make it ridiculous, he does not ride a horse or an elephant but a mouse because he is fat.

Which part do you relate to?

@St-Sinner Oh, stop! I've seen children stopping on their way to school to honor Lord G. There are shrines to him all over India and Nepal because people love him. And I know they believe he'll help you find something lost...or protect you on a journey. The mouse is his constant companion...putting the lie to that old myth about elephants being terrified of mice. Apparently, Ganesh does NOT carry grudges which puts him wayyyy ahead of most Hindu gods.

@pamagain
Ganesh has a lot of curses, you have not been just close enough in practice.

@St-Sinner As you like.
