I always use cold water for my laundry and as hot as I can take it to wash my dishes, I'm the dishwasher, talk about cheap! Lol!!!

We have something in common. 🙂

@Betty Woohoo!!!!🎉🥳 I have dishwasher hands too!

@michelle666gar Lotion helps. 🙂

@Betty It does but sometimes burns

@michelle666gar Are you allergic to latex? If not, then the gloves may help.

I always use cold for laundry, however I would have a health concern for not sanitizing dishes with cold water washing.

I have washed in straight cold for 30+ years, bought no special detergents either. I am more than presentable in clean clothes. I dry on Low too.....uses far less electricity and less wrinkles too, No "static electricity sheets" to buy either, and No shrinkage!

I wash in cold water most of the time but my bed linen I was in hot water. Don't have a drier, it all gets hang outside.

@Jolanta A rare time in Australia when driers are needed. Our humidity average is very low across the country. Indonesian wood has to be specially dried to survive in Australia.
