Just to be clear, there is no AI. It is machine learning (ML) or other technologies, such as natural language processing, computer vision, robotics, autonomous agents, and others. AI refers to the same overall level of mental functioning a human is capable of. This doesn't exist—only parts. So when they talk about AI, they are typically referring to specific technologies rather than an overall human cognitive ability.

There is AI but it is pure logic and efficiency. It has IQ but not Emotive intelligence. It is not about replicating humans regarding its potential. It's for us to use as a task slave. A slave that can be repaired and has no feelings, is not alive. No rights, a machine. But an intelligent machine that can do many of our mundane tasks like maintaining roads etc . More leisure time for the living.
Unfortunately technological research is funded by the military. The cream of our scientists/ engineers end up working for the complex. Imagine if military budgets were spent in this area instead.
