The US economy. For those of you blaming Biden for the economy I have some questions for you. What costs are most concerning for you at the moment? Gas? Food? Clothing? When you buy those items who do you pay for them? Do you give the money to the US government or to Biden? No, you give the money to the companies who didn't make any money for 2 years during the pandemic and now they're gouging you. Do you think Biden told the companies to gouge you? Do you think he has the magic phone call to call them and tell them to stop gouging you? Some people blame supply line problems. Flavored water has doubled in price. What's the supply line problem for water? What control over the supply line issues does the government have? Does Biden control the supply line?
As an aside, you probably blame Biden for the immigration problems.
Hopefully you understand that Congress makes the laws not the President. And Congress came up with a deal to help with the immigration issues until some guy who's not even in the government told the Republicans not to pass it. Because he wants the credit for it if he gets elected. So much for the massive emergency.
The price of fuel concerns me. That cost effects nearly every since nearly all goods need to be distributed by trucks. The price of fuel rises, and the price of everything else rises. The oil companies are making billions in profit, they are price gouging us. 2008 and 2022. Then we have inflation. For 2022 the additional factors of Russia and then OPEC manipulating prices. Now the oil companies are raising fuel costs again. It never gets a serious discussion.
P.S I do not blame Biden for the economic issues. I blame the oil companies, Russia and OPEC. The economy is not in bad shape, wage discrepancy is another major issue.
