Dating and relationships are a challenge at any age, but with seniors things take on a unique perspective. At our age we are flush with life experience and have "been there, done that" and are no longer driven by the lust of our youth. Here is a TOP TEN list of things that Single Senior Men do not want to hear (this is original, so you only have me to blame for this):

  1. "You seem so unhappy."
  2. "It's nice to have a man around the house again."
  3. "Is that your THIRD beer?"
  4. " I didn't think you would mind if we did __ instead of ___."
  5. " Turn left here, and then turn right...."
  6. " Fine"
  7. " Whatever"
  8. "I thought that you'd be taller"
  9. "I don't eat meat"

And the number one thing a man does not want to hear is

  1. "Where do you go to church?"

What inspired this list was an experience I had a few years ago. I had a couple of dates with this woman and we were getting along fabulously until she asked the dreaded question, "Where do you go to church?" After I informed her that I was an atheist, she could not get away from me fast enough. She even said, "I can't be seen in public with someone like you". This actually happened.

Un-freakin' believable...
