Talking with the unconscious, I've discovered a simple philosophy among them. This philosophy suggests that people are mostly ignorant of themselves, and this ignorance will never change unless society changes first. In other words, these individuals believe that change occurs only at the societal level and take no personal accountability or action other than to navigate society's rules. They blindly and ignorantly follow these rules and refuse to do the work of life themselves.

There will be no changes on a personal level because they do not think or perceive at that level. Instead, they operate at the unconscious level, following society rather than defining their own reality. This is what it means to be asleep. If you find yourself thinking or saying, “…but society,” then you're asleep.

It's not about being good or bad, or smart or stupid. It's about awareness and how it is utilized. Everyone has awareness, but not everyone uses it.
