Don't have to be a fan to like it. There are so many songs that I heard in my life that I like without being a particular fan. From Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Stones to Maroon 5 and Adele. The real quality that sticks in your brain floats atop.

I'm "crying" over this, man.

Boy... did he make breaking up miserably. Lol.

Fantastic concert by the great Roy Orbison. The stellar lineup of supporting players is amazing too!!

Correct. The group of "backup" musicians in this concert is phenomenal.

@Condor5 Bruce Springsteen, who is a MegaStar, looked at Orbison like a love-struck cheerleader looking at the star QB. His peers worshiped him, he was that outstanding.

@GuyKeith, I did notice that. Seemed quite smitten, didn't he?

@Condor5 Rightfully so. Orbison was his idol.

What a magnificent concert! Filming it in black and white was genius.

Definitely!

I have the CD and play it on my big screen all the time. Orbison had no peer.

@GuyKeith I have that DVD also. It's just outstanding; I really like the extended version of Oh Pretty Woman.

Oh hell yeah! That's what I'm talking about.

Gotta love Roy. That voice!

Roy Orbison is the greatest male vocalist to have ever lived. Even Elvis said so. Orbison was the only other entertainer that Elvis was worried about. Black and White Night is wonderful. What a cast!

Roy was Elvis' favourite singer. He even said he patterned his vocal style after Roy.

Absolutely! His voice is virtually flawless.

@Condor5 He really deserved better. His life was filled with horrible tragedy and health problems. Then he got back into shape, looked great and sounded fantastic, but BOOM a heart attack. He's been gone over 30 years.

@lindylu64 He inspired many singers and groups, not the least of which was The Beatles.

@GuyKeith At one time Roy opened for the Beatles. One of the band members said they didn’t want to go on after him because he was so good!

@GuyKeith, if I'm not mistaken, the term "rockabilly" was coined to describe Orbison's unique style.
