AI HAS NO SENSE OF HUMOR AND IT CAN BE DANGEROUS!!

The simple idea was that this tool would give you a summary of the core information you wanted without needing you to pursue a load of search results.

Only it didn’t really work — at least at first. In some egregious examples, Google's AI told users to add glue to their pizza sauce to give it "more tackiness," suggested washing clothes with the toxic gas chlorine, and even noted that a solution to feeling depressed would be jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge.

The issue here was that while AI Overviews could pull information from a mass of sources, it appeared to be no good at separating satirical, incorrect or malicious information from useful and correct information.

I have been saying for years that algorithms are dangerous. There is no better example than FB where you get reprimanded by FB or put in FB jail for sarcasm and sharing something you found on FB. l got called out for sharing a post of a Black NBA player having a touching moment with a child with Downs Syndrome an his father. FB said it was against community standards. I have many more examples as l am sure many of you do too.

I've been bounced out of chatroom groups too... as if FB actually has community standards

I have told a man AI can be dangerous, but he WANTS TO BELIEVE. He’s also an xian.

They don't need any stinkin proof . Just faith and bourbon
