Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.The Bureau of Meteorology's Australian Space Weather Forecasting Centre has observed a geomagnetic storm event which in the last 24 hours resulted in amazing images of Aurora Australis from as far north as Mackay Queensland.

On the other side of the globe, we are seeing the aurora here in South Wales, UK (when it's not raining). Very unusual.
