I find it absolutely shocking that here in Texas, public schools include prayer at events. Apparently, many Texans think it's no big deal. I grew up in the Midwest and east coast, where prayer wasn't part of school events. Would love to hear your thoughts...

Where is this going on? I mean, I haven't seen this. IMHEIUO there are many Gov. officials at the top in this state who are responsible for some VERY ridiculous situations. I would definitely attribute this and just about every other craziness like that we see to those guys anyway.

I'm here in Texas. I moved when I was married in 2005. If I had known...
- Just what it's like to be surrounded by nothing but religitards, and
- That I would be getting divorced,
I never would have moved here. Yet there are a lot of things to like about this area. Really almost everything but religion. But like Hitchens said, religion ruins everything.
