Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I have a copy of the translated Nag Hamadi manuscripts but have yet to read it. I do know that not everyone believes the Gnostics were Christians. In fact, they may have been pagans opposed to Christianity.

Or, an offshoot, of which there were many early on, with many different beliefs & combination of beliefs. Until the Council of Nicea, different people had different versions of the bibble & interpreted it in many different ways.
I just watched this. There is another video by "religion for breakfast" on YouTube about gnosticism that's pretty good also.
