DINO DASH 5K & HALF MARATHON
I started doing 5K walks to support a friend doing half marathons. The first two just about did me in, then I started to do them (3.1 mile walks) around town parks. I've worked up to a pretty good walk pace of 18 min miles with a music track with songs using the right bpm. Cadence is my friend.

This weekend in Vernal, UT is the Dino Dash. I'm hoping to up my pace by a minute or two... depends on the level of the course. I don't uphill too quick.

Now, with all this said, I highly encourange anyone who would like to start a healthy activity, to check out RUNTASTIC EVENTS in their area. They are nationwide, and really put together a great experience.
