I work a regular work week, Monday to Friday.
I look forward to my weekends, as do most folks.
The funny thing is, I run (volunteer) a job search group at the library on Monday evenings. I get to meet lots of great people; both as participants and invited guests (speakers).
So... I often find myself writing and saying: I'm Looking Forward to Monday.
It strikes me as rather odd, and yet...
On that note, Have a great weekend! 😉

When I worked the midnight to 8 a.m. shift, I LOVED Monday mornings.There I was going home to sleep while everyone else was heading to work wearing their grumpy faces. 🙂

Wait until you retire...half the time you won't even remember what day it is.....I'm retired.

Well said. What the hell difference does the day make ??

As long as my pension check is in the bank on the first of the month nothing else matters, @VAL3941

@nicknotes
Thats the whole point of being retired..Standing at the gate waiting for the cheque to arrive ??
