"Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin on Friday signed a law that says no child-placement agency will be required to put children up for adoption or in foster care in situations that "violate the agency's written religious or moral convictions or policies."

This law is ludicrous....if you are LGBT or any other non approved faith or perhaps even Atheist/Agnostic or some unappreciated ethnic group or any sort, how are you protected from discrimination when trying to adopt?

Of course the pedophiliic Catholic Church is all in favor of it.

I disagree with the law but know that it is only legalizing what has almost always been practiced. Our legislature is closing down for the year and therefore a slew of pump up their base laws were passed. I have high hopes that Oklahoma will become less regressive in about 8 years. Our young people don't seem to care about sexual preference or what church someone goes to. Unfortunately guns will still be a very potent issue to get out the vote for Republicans.

I grew up in Okla and Tex. No real surprise here.
