As part of yard clean-up over the weekend, we removed all the dead Cast Iron plant leaves from the beds around a couple of my Pecan trees....l neglected to take a 'before' picture to show how bad it was, but here are some 'after' pics showing all the new growth that was hiding underneath it all!

Thanks. Had a lot more die back this year (so looking a little sparse), but l'm sure they'll fill in nicely!

@Free_2B_Me I bet, especially around the tree where a lot of plants won't grow.
@LeighShelton They're known for growing well in the shade (which is why l got them). I believe they're also called Plantation plant or something like that because they were used a lot in the yards of southern plantation homes.

@LeighShelton lt's central Texas, so warm about 9 months outta the year....it's 88 degrees right now.
@Free_2B_Me so those plants would survive in the UK perhaps?
