[ UK Audience] Perhaps we should institute a law which forbids local authorities from purchasing and implementing traffic calming, speed humps and associated street furmiture until they have repaired the terrible state of our roads? What say ye?

Its bloody awful. We are so unprepared for adverse weather. I think strip all the tarmac and restate the cobbles.

Just wait until the tarmac gets so bad. Most of the cobbled streets are still under the tar.
