Would you want to be Meghan or Harry?
I only know of the Roman empire and the gladiator contests but the politics of keeping the crowd amused and enthralled by public spectacles may have started earlier. Luckily we have have become a bit more civilized in our spectacles. We now have royal weddings.
Now I'm talking about the British royal wedding. Big thing in OZ as we're a colonial country. It will be on all the TV channels.
Makes you wonder; would you exchange places for a life of wealth but always under public scrutiny, your every move watched. Could you ever just be yourself and not the public profile you'd have to carry?

If you're born royal, you don't have an option. If you're already a minor celebrity you're half-way there already. I would probably trade the personal inconvenience for the very real perks and the chance to lend my weight to causes I believed in.

Not interested. Working. Never watched a royal wedding...never would. The entire idea of royals in 2018 is bollox.

I don't want anything to do with it

I wouldn't want to live under constant scrutiny. That couldn't be fun. On the other hand, there are bound to be lots of perks to being a royal. I'm sure there are trade-offs. I like being who I am, but on some levels I think we all try to live up to a certain public profile applicable in our own lives
