It appears the main stream centrists and right wingers are getting happy and comfortable with Trump, so who do you think the dems can put up to win in 2020
I don't think it matters too much who the Democrats run. If the economy is as good in 2020 as it is in 2018 Trump will win easily. But the economic cycles look ominous to me, so I think ( as opposed to hope ) that the Republican candidate will be in serious trouble in 2020. I hope that Trump can figure out some way to divorce main street from wall street, and make his Republicans the party of main street. In my view that's his best chance of reelection. In my opinion the Democrats are now dominated by far-left-wing political forces, and any Democrat who is likely to be nominated will do their best to turn us into the North American version of Venezuela.
Not sure who Dems will run with.. I have a strong feeling Trump will be re-elected.
Say goodbye to clean water, clean air and open spaces if this is the case. Say hello to secular living and a rise of the KKK, Neo Nazi's. He will be offed one way or another before long.
@Kimberclimbs It's been a couple years since Trump has been in office and I am amazed that people still buy into the KKK/nazi scare. How many KKK members and nazis have you met?
@Kimberclimbs Meeeh... I wouldn't put too much money on that notion there Kimber.. And for the record, the only Neo Nazi type action sense he's gotten into office, has been from radical left wingers, fondly referred to as Antifa. Cheers
if main stream centrists are happy you lot, and probably the rest of the world, are effed
The Dems don't really care about the working class, which is why they stitched up Bernie Sanders. Real meaningful change can only come about through unions and protest.
The Dems will continue on their pilgrimage to gentrify cities for their middle class friends.
Interesting take.. thanks.
