They’re all a nightmare. It doesn’t matter what it is you’re planning on doing, you can absolutely guarantee that you’ll have to visit at least three of these stores to get everything you need. ??

I had to look B&Q up....it is like Home Depot or Loews but only it is in the UK. I always need stuff but I can understand the frustration of trying to find stuff in these stores. Sometimes it helps to take photos and bring them to the store and get a clerk to help.

@Josephine Yeah, it's like that here too. The person on the contract (credit card, bank, loan, cell phone, electricity, etc.) is the only person authorized to discuss it with the other party -- regardless of who is paying the bill.

They're a pile it high sell it cheap outfit. they buy containers full of cheap shit from china and have almost zero knowledge on their goods.

Almost better off online. I've always been well served by Screwfix.
