@Blindbird Actually I suspect it is true and the idea is to provoke the people because there is as much support for the fascist end of the equation as there is for the social democratic position and those further left.
Weimar Germany is the most obvious example. Popular sentiment split to both extremes, it's just that the fascists were better organised and less inclined to try and make a functional society. Oh, and the incumbent government had a knee jerk hatred of the Marxists and a vested interest in keeping organised labour away from power.
We need to have real criteria for those running for office. Not if you are just a citizen. How many of these pricks would be eligible if they were required to pass high basic economics, math and science exams today in order to run?
That would be draining the swamp faster than that sinkhole that will hopefully envelop the White House.

Is there any possibility or political/legal loophole that would allow them to be thrown into the dark damp pit first...then voting them out..as a mere technicality???
