I don't want to blame modern feminism, but I find it strange that energetic straight male teenagers, find pleasure in buying dogs or other pets to support them than dating and getting a girlfriend.

Two months ago,I met a 27 year old straight younger man,we talked to each other and parted ways,so today I met him again, and after we greeted each other,I asked him " What are you up to these days?" his response was " I have a dog, I told you about it last time,it makes me happy". I then asked, why isn't he dating at 27 and if you don't enjoy intimacy in that age gap, when do you plan to do it? He went mute. Then I remembered, last time he told me,he had failed to find a girlfriend,so now he finds happiness in dogs and swimming!.

The guy you spoke to is 27, so he is not representative of any teens' practices. Your asking him why he wasn't dating was an inappropriate and overly-personal question. It's none of your business why he doesn't date. Asking him why just put him on the spot and probably embarred him.

Maybe he is painfully shy. Maybe he just got out of a bad relationship and is still getting over it. It doesn't seem that you and he talked about any woman or women, so I don't see how feminism can play a role here.

You mention feminism in a number of your posts. I get the impression that you blame feminism because you don't have a girlfriend. That could be the case, but it seems unlikely to me. Maybe you need to try to meet different types of women. Maybe you need to change your approach. Maybe you are attracted to strong, independent women, but are afraid they are going to be ball-breakers, and are experiencing cognitive dissonance. I don't know. But unless you are meeting SPECIFIC women who are giving you problems, and they are telling you feminism is the reason for those problems, I would not blame a whole social movement for what is more likely a situation-specific issue

Okay, since you didn't respond to my question about what you meant by diluted, I'm posting here again.

I get the feeling you've met some real bitches. If they were obnoxious or horrible to you, I'm sorry for that. But that's not feminism. However, if it's old fashioned relationships you want, there are plenty of women out there that want the same thing. There's sort of a movement about it. They call it the 50's lifestyle. You should Google it and find ways to connect with the community, just like here. There are forums and such just for that purpose. Don't assume all women are the same. There are plenty out there that want what you want, no matter what that is. Don't give up. Reach out and find them. They'll be glad you did.

As for the bitches, ass holes come in all shapes and sizes. Don't let shitty people color your view of the world. You deserve to find your happiness, whatever that may be.

You have no right to challenge this man's life choices. He does not have to defend himself or answer to you.

Your rhetoric sounds like the female equivalent of the entitlement narrative.

I couldn't quite see the relevance of feminism. If your friend's personality or character is such that he has problems with young women his age, maybe he just needs to grow up a little, or do some work on himself. He doesn't have an automatic right to be liked by girls. I'm glad he is finding happiness in having a dog. You can learn a lot from relationships with pets.

I.... There are just so many things, but I'm going to pick that you might be over-generalizing.

It's just that I'm pretty sure feminism is about women being free to define themselves in their own way and be free to express that. Not so much about how particular men feel about dating.

Modern feminists deluted the way straight people date. It's a fact.

@0752532706 if it changed it in that women are sticking up for themselves and raising their standards in how they allow men to treat them and, in turn, some men are having a hard time finding someone to settle for less and put up with their shit... Then yes. It has thankfully changed.

@0752532706 Forgive me, deluted is not defined. Did you mean diluted, deluded or another?

@0752532706. 2+2=4. That's a fact. Almost everything socially related is an opinion, even that Hitler sucked, no matter how sad that makes me.

Just curious though. What did you mean by diluted?

@Faithless1 Will you define your brave new word, I cannot find it on line.
