Grants Pass… Is that still a nest of survivalists A native Portlander, I remember a plan the ..Passians had to shut down I-5 and basically loot travelers when all ‘ell broke loose
..now 3 hours ‘behind me,’ with caffeine… I’ve family in Oregon, of course, but haven’t checked the weather yet.. Picked up a coworker who just spent the last month & a half in Northern CA … likely closer to you than Portland. “I can feel the humidity” she said as I delivered her back to the Blue Ridge (SW VA). She’d once lived among the Redwoods, me, among the Douglas fir..
So, after a long day of yard work yesterday, I’m hangin out inside as some summer rain storms approach my area. Clean, I’d rather not become sweaty.. for no good reason, and 3 hours ahead, just finished a beer.
Mom, influenced by her ‘seventh day adventist’ kin never drank coffee; consequently, as an adult, I’ve never had a coffee maker. Can you imagine? But, I love it! Coffee flavored ..anything, I even crunch on the roasted beans in grocery stores ..the really expensive ones ...Grants Pass, close enough to Coos Bay to smell the ocean.. Good Morning
@Sheannutt The ocean’s that far by ‘road,’ but not as the storms blow I remember rare occasions in Portland, during a fast moving spring storm from the west ..you could faintly smell the ocean. Only met a few who’d noticed that though. In the PNW, humidity’s called ‘rain’ ...yur a newbie, enjoy ~
