A lot of people reference Orwell's "1984." I think Huxley's prediction of the future was much more accurate: seduce people with comfort and safety so they willingly give up freedom, rights, and responsibility.

I think it's a pre war/post war difference,between the authors. The books are compared and discussed periodically.Another one.
@CrazyQuilter Doors of Perception & Heaven and hell were my fist.Island etc.He was s visionary.
