@rsabbatini you say the universe is finite. I would guess that means there's a boundary or wall out there in space. What's on the other side? Even nothing is something. I believe the Universe is infinite and there was no beginning.
@rsabbatini Wrong - The point being the Universe is infinite hence the number of galaxies must be infinite also.
@rsabbatini Sorry - wrong again - space does not expand.
