EVERYTHING is consciousness. Matter is simply (?) consciousness 'slowed down' but even a rock still has residual consciousness. The larger the 'rock', the greater the residual consciousness. Add TIME (or experience) and WISDOM arises. An ancient consciousness, billions of years old, would have developed significant wisdom and may wish to share it's wisdom with any willing and open-minded other. Thus Gaia/Earth/Our place has provided many plant and fungal 'emissaries' to facilitate our awakening to the reality of our existence. They help oil the rusted hinges on our 'Doors of Perception' (read Aldous Huxley) and thus heal the blinding that our social conditioning has imposed on us from birth. We are then able to regain the wide-eyed wonder of a new born babe. Life REALLY IS astonishing to behold. Enjoy it while you can..

it's easier for me to believe there's something to all that, than that there's nothing to it. don't be discouraged by all the evidence talk.

Well, I guess we can theorize but to believe I think we should have a lot of evidence. Sans that, it's all just woo woo.

Back when I was new to atheism, I was open to those ideas. The multiverse idea is possible but there's nothing practical about it. The best way to exercise your consciousness and mind power is to listen to others.
