Beauty as symmetry, as perfection, as ideal is a Greek conception, which became predominant in Western Culture.

It has to be.... perfect things cannot be improved... however, that's not how life works, there is always room for improvement, therefore perfection doesn't really exist

My view also is that imperfection IS beautiful, but beauty is always in the eyes of the beholder, and so is perfection i would hunch. LOL
