I didn't get the job that I interviewed for last week. I'm currently laid off. I don't think that I will be out of a job for terribly long. There are done concrete reasons to feel optimistic. My main issue will be to keep occupied and prevent myself from feeling useless.

If this were FB, you would have been on a prayer chain but since we're here you get best wishes from me and positive thoughts your way. Good luck with the job hunt. 🙂

I was out of work once for almost 6 months - during the recession - it's tough but just keep plugging away at the job search. Fortunately the economy is strong now and there are jobs to be had. Good luck!

Hang in there, glad you are keeping that attitude, it should win through for you.

I'm sorry to hear that. Try to take the long view - not so easy, I know - and in the meantime, keep yourself busy (again, not so easy sometimes) and don't surrender to pessimism and self-doubt (another tall order in times like these you find yourself in). This will pass.
