Love that quote!

It's true. I am aware of my white privilege. It's quite shocking when I think about things. I am so lucky.

Unexamined privilege, when challenged, feels like oppression.

I so agree, an honest quote. We white people don’t think about what minorities in the country have to go through on a daily basis. The various double standards that black have to put up with such as having to be over qualified for a job position to even be considered or being excluded from housing/loans or having sales persons ignore you or assisted you last because you are black or having to worry about whether they are going to be shot or not during a traffic stop as examples. As a White person in the US I have not had to worry about any of these things. No one has ever given me anything that I didn’t earn but unlike Blacks I didn’t have anything holding me back either. Just my thoughts.

@Shelton Thank you sir.
