I have it. It's very rare that a volunteer is called on to help since they outnumber the service users by a huge margin. I think that's probably the app's great success, you can volunteer safe in the knowledge that if you can't help at the time somebody needs you then another volunteer will pick up almost immediately.

UPDATE.... Installed it. It looks like it's simple to use — as a volunteer I just need to wait for an assistance request to come in, and they'll only have me active between 8:00—21:00..... Looks like I'd have to be careful to keep my phone data connection off though, otherwise it'll eat through my stingy allowance. But I generally only use WiFi anyway, so that's not going to be a problem.
