Inexplicably missing my Mum today. Its daft nonsense like the pattern she used to knit for every new baby or how to make her horseraddish dip or that bloke who lived down the street...what was his name Mum? I talk to her all the time. Sometimes I just wish she'd answer :'(

All the things you just wrote about should be in a journal or on an Ancestry family tree. I'm not sure why she doesn't answer but would assume that it's because she has passed. If that is the case - even more reason to record your feelings and memories as it keeps her memory alive from your perspective and it sounds like a great one.

Most of us miss our loved ones when they are not longer with us; it is natural, and normal. Many things remind me of my parents, grandparents, and sister. Sometime this makes me laugh, other times, sad. Just roll with it.

Boys bond to their Mothers,as she provides the food and care, perhaps teaching her child basic things as the time passes, before going off to school. So when she pases away,a big piece of our hearts dies with her.

I'm not a boy

Miss my mum terribly. She went into hospital suffering a nervous breakdown, and she never came out alive.

So sorry

Yes,a perfume she wore,a card you found tucked away, maybe an old letter from her you filed away and rediscoverd it,puzzeling out her handwriting, thinking how she composed it,the effort involved.

❤❤? I am so lucky to still have my Mum with me. Just remember she wouldn't want you be sad or melancholic, enjoy the memories...but in a positive way.
If she could answer you Im sure she would a thousand times.

You're not the only one. It shows how much we loved them.
