I love all kinds of music. Most of what I listen to now is pre-2000, because I'm old. Bruce Springsteen really captured an angst that I felt growing up poor in the Midwest, even though he was a Jersey Shore product.

Gaaaah! No offence to you sir, but Springsteen was the Kevin Costner of rock.

New guys, Weston Horn and the Hush. My absolute favorite ever, perfect combination of rock and jazz

Far too many to narrow it down to one, or to list here.

However, my current favourite (because it's what I'm listening to right now):

Discovering new music is my favorite. Or new to me. But if not had to pick just one, it'd be all the incarnations of The Grateful Dead. Esp since Dead and Co is keeping it new now. But ohhhh the ticket prices!

It may not seem imaginative, and no longer contemporary ..but The Beatles All of them ~
