LINK Prostitution is not a job. The inside of a woman’s body is not a workplace | Julie Bindel | Opinion | The Guardian

I'm sick of listening to prostitution apologists who usually default to turning a blind eye to the more complex negative aspects associated with 'the oldest profession'.

Instead, have places where people can enjoy free consenting sex, minus the toxic financial transaction. (Why do I suspect some men would object to that?)

It's time to end this degrading service industry which perpetuates the commodification of women's bodies.

There are many sex workers (their preferred term the US) who are in it by choice and who do their jobs with professionalism and compassion. They are on the front lines of combatting sex trafficking. Please don’t assume they aren’t intelligent people capable
of making responsible choices about their bodies and work.
