LINK Religion and evolution? No way, says Richard Dawkins

As far as the biologist is concerned, he's not convinced that religion has any evolutionary benefit whatsoever. Whatever it's doing for us can be found elsewhere. We need to start asking the right questions!

Whats his problem we already lost the ability to live like moses and noah each over 1000 yrs old.

Religion used to be a survival trait because it enhanced a sense of community which enhanced survival. Now it impedes survival by directing our efforts into bad activities.

I would agree. Religion interferes with natural evolution.
