That is evidence of spin, as is the use of the hyperbolic term "concentration camps".
I have stood in Dachau. What is going on is wrong, unjust, and totally lacks human compassion, but it is not Dachau. We need to ensure no Dachau ever exists again and I do not think calling something less than Dachau "Dacahu- de facto' does not help. It causes more division. We need to ensure things that resemble the birth of 'Dachau' (as do these actions) are never allowed to be, or worse to grow into 'Dachaus'.

Might seem like a fine point to some, but when such things are falsely equated it allows Trumpsters to spin the entire left as 'chicken little', and while we infight over semantics, Families are still being torn apart.

So, in context, while reprehensible and disgusting, you can see it does not sound like "Valentine attacked the children as being" those things, but flagged the Families as dark and twisted, sinful and evil.
AND the children would of course be suffering under such parents, right?
And now the actual thought process is more revealed, the reason so many Trumpets do not have issue with the separation issue is because they think they are SAVING those kids from unfit parents (with no evidence of that and assertions from pulpits that they are 'unclean'

When their actual rhetoric is so disgusting and twisted via religion and propaganda combined, I do not think it behooves us as writers to 'spin' that AT ALL.
I think it needs to have the light of reason and evidence shown upon it in full.
