Since becoming an atheist and also the revamp of the Star Trek franchise with Chris Pine as Captain Kirk, I'm a Trekkie now.

Love the old star trek.. not the new stuff. Never got into the star wars stuff..

Star Trek is based on science where Star Wars is based of fantasy so, as a skeptic the choice is clear.

This is like comparing apples and oranges. Aside from your points, they're also very different styles of storytelling. Star Wars is more space opera than anything else. In a way, it's closer to Harry Potter than to Star Trek.
