QUESTION 80K+year old "tree"
Someone mentioned the 6,000 year old world belief and it reminded me of something I did to ground myself a few years ago. I went and sat under "Pando" for 45 minutes. It is peaceful and amazing and worth the trip. It is in Utah.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.About 25 year ago I realized that these trees are all clones when I saw a branch from one tree fuse into the notch of the branch of another. A couple of years later the source tree died but the branch continued to thrive.

These aren't really clones though. They are one living organism. The entire root system is one connected living thing.
