Going to mars will not really accomplish or discover anything that the rovers and robots have allready discovered .

I don't think I would have the courage to make that one way trip. If someone else wants that adventure more power to them

I hope to see humans set foot on Mars in my lifetime. We need to do all we can to ignite interest in science; and I hope we find evidence of life (either past or present). Also, it encourages innovation etc. as did the quest to visit the moon.
