Gene Wilder in his memoir, "Kiss me like a stranger" spends some time talking about Gilda... really heartbreaking on many levels. I really recommend it, especially the audio book, since Gene does the reading.

Wow! Definitely want to see that. Gilda was so full of life, such a funny lady who passed way too soon. Can you imagine being in the house with those two; her and Gene Wilder? What a riot that would have been. Made me tear up a little seeing her again.
