That's pretty much where I am. I consider myself a recovering Christian. It's ok if other people want to do it but I get crazy so I avoid religion.

That is actually the third level of agnosticism so I would say yes.

You are welcome here, that is a good term I think it discribe something very close to how I feel about it.

Nothing wrong with not caring. But 'not caring' CAN be a slippery slope. If you care about other humans, the planet and the golden rule... you're doing better than most.

I think most atheists don't really care one way or the other except when religion intrudes and/or tries to thrust and/or force its way into their lives. Then we care!

It is just nice that there is a site whee if you are havign difficulties people wont' be telling you to pray about it, or instead o actually offering helpful advice they just say "I'll pray for you."

I am hoping this site continues to evolve into an oasis of sanity.

I was like that throughout my childhood into adulthood.
I never really thought about god or religion at all.
What finally got me to pay attention and completely deny any and all god claims was how religion makes people treat each other, and how it was distorting the politics here in the US.
Being apathetic is cool, but I know with every fiber of my being that the world would be a far better place without religions.
