LINK Dramatic vegetation changes in the past hint at dire future

I wouldn't say "dire" absolutely. I'd say "not good for humans, perhaps." Unpleasant for bio-diversity (for the foreseeable future), maybe. But dire is a bit harsh...lol

How many crop failures can the world have before civilization begins to crumble? I think that is the meaning of "dire" in the context of climate change.
