Has a certain song ever sounded faster than usual to you on the radio?

I don’t know if it is just me, but I can swear at times when I hear a song on the radio, I can swear up and down the song sounds faster than usual or the voices in the song sort of sound chipmunk like.

I've noticed faster and also slower. It's weird.

It is possible, if they have squeeze so many songs into a certain time frame. Which could back fire if people don't like the changes.

I havent noticed it around here but I listen to very little radio and when I do its usually a public university station. I wouldnf put it past the pop stations to get a little extra advertising in though.
