Right now I'm totally leaning towards the Green Party. Peace! People! Planet!

I often wind up voting dem because they tend to promote and support issues I see as being critical.

Where do the financially conservative and socially liberal reside anymore? I use to consider myself libertarian (ok, rational libertarian - but that’s a whole other discussion) but even that party appears to be commandeered by the evangelicals these days.

I consider myself a SOCIALIST. Our Politicians get everything paid for them at taxpayers expense. I don't agree with this because most of them are millionaires. We have far too many people who need assistance.

I'm a lifelong Democrat. I've voted for Republicans at times and I'm not blind to the faults of prominent Democrats.

Sadly the Republican party has become the party of stupidity, nastiness and dishonesty. When they gave Limbaugh power over them years ago they set themselves up to be the sleaziest party imaginable.

I don't like to be categorized, but if I have to pick one of the above, it would be Democrat.

I vote for the best candidate unless I have no information and then I vote Dem.

I am a registered Dem so that I can vote in the primary. In addition, in a two party system (I didn't invent it) we need to pressure the Dems to keep going towards a progressive agenda. Of course I do not agree with everything, but that is the nature of politics. No one has to explain to me as to how big money is involved, with all of the parties listed, but not registering or not voting, or casting a protest vote when the Supreme court is in danger of being lost, is just foolish in my opinion.

In the state of Washington, voters don't affiliate with a political party, as we have open primaries.

I identify most with the Democratic Socialists in Northern Europe, but when I lived in states where you registered your party (California & Oregon), I registered as democrat to vote in the primaries. For a while i was registered with the Green Party, but again I wanted to have a voice in the primaries, so I registered as democrat.

The republican party is full of nuts and racists, so i have only one option, democrat for life. I acknowledge there are a few exceptions to my characterization

Left leaning moderate, but no party affiliation. I tend to vote according to issues, although I am jaded enough to disbelieve most candidates' claims regarding said issues. Often they cannot fulfill their campaign promises OR flat out lie to get the vote.

Mostly Democrat but with misgivings.

I used to identify with the Democrats but now I'm more independent and vote whoever suits my fancy.

Because we have this mostly two party system, I end up voting Democrat much of the time.

In Australia the equivalent is the Labor party. It's a broad church of political views but it mainly relies on science and evidence based policy formulation. The liberal and national party coalition which is in government are very similar to the Republicans and run an idiological policy formulation that prefers neolibrilism. I say vote the neolibril regressive conservative maniacs out!

I vote party line except for presidential races where I vote for the best candidate.
