Read your Bible, pray every day...and you'll grow, grow, grow?

I was taught this song: "Read your Bible, pray every day, and you'll grow, grow, grow. Neglect your Bible, forget to pray, and you'll shrink, shrink, shrink..."I've found that the opposite of these claims is true. The more I know about the Bible, the more I doubt. Anyone else see this too?

Yes, it takes contorted logic and improbable conjecture to try and reconcile its contradictions.

Wow..you sure seem obsessed with religion. I really don't care what religious people do, or sing.

It's all a matter of perspective. Fundamentalism seeks to "shrink" one's intellect and "grow" one's credulousness. From their perspective, I have shrunk to the size of a gnat I suppose, since leaving the faith.
