One thing that struck me was the culture of not documenting the lives of women. It was inappropriate to publish writing and could reflect badly on your character. I encourage everyone not to erase themselves from history. Write, allow photos to be taken of you, sign your name on your accomplishments. You don’t know how they might inspire future generations. Leave a record of yourself.
