It isn't likely anything will come of this. merrick garland, obama's nominee who was completely ignored by mcconnell and his republican'ts, has stepped aside from this case, because he's an actual honorable human being. the person whose case it now is was on trump's short list for supreme court nominee, so don't hold your breath.
