lindsay graham is working on a bill for this right now. the republican party has long since become a criminal organization.

@genessa They don't have the votes to pass such an amendment. It wont' stop them form the politcal theater of introducing the bill and voting on it many times over an dover again, even though there is no chance of it ever passing, much like they did with the repeal of Obamacare.

@snytiger6 well they have to do something with their time, right? i don't know... it seems to me legitimate legislation to help the citizens of the country would work too, but they just won't try that.

@genessa Sadly true. It is either pass tax cuts for the rich, or cutting regulations that protect us, to make their rich contributors make more profits or else they (republicans) are at a loss about what to do with themselves. So, they think they shoudl maybe cut social securtiy to pay for all those tax cuts for the rich.. but they will keep the same tax rates deducted frm worker's paychecks... So, they also seem to look for ways to screw over workers too.
