POLL Commemorating: Georgia O'Keeffe

" When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it's your world for the moment. I want to give that world to someone else. Most people in the city rush around so, they have no time to look at a flower. I want them to see it whether they want to or not."
-Georgia O'Keeffe

Today, November 15th in 1887, Georgia Totto O'Keeffe was born in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. She was an American artist best known for her paintings of enlarged flowers, New York skyscrapers, and New Mexico landscapes. O'Keeffe has been recognized as the "Mother of American modernism"

Have you seen an O'Keeffe painting in person?

I have been to the museum in Santa Fe. It was a life goal.

I had a great time at that museum. I want to get out to Ghost Ranch on my next road trip. 🙂
