my oldest child is 8 and autistic. He is also incredibly intelligent, and spends as much time reading my books on philosophy and physics as i do. he often asks me questions about the mathematics of quantum physics and its relationship to our daily lives. i took calculus in high school, about a thousand years ago, but i am by no means a math or science wiz. i can't give him the answers he seeks. all i can do is tell him to google it.
