Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.If this article is accurate it is horrifying to think that Prescott Bush financially collaborated with Germany during the Holocaust. Many concentration camp inmates, mostly Jews, were used as slave labor in factories and nuclear energy facilities and worked to death. Financially American banks like Prescott Bush' s may have invested in the Nazis without realizing there were death camps. Why American bombers never attacked the rail lines leading to Auschwitz is beyond me.

It is. Prescott was fined by the government for selling goods to the Nazis after it had been outlawed. One reason the Bushes have stood for destroying all that FDR built. Prescott also tried to start a coup. The retired general he approached, who had been a quite vocal opponent of FDR's policies sat, listened, nodded agreement, and then went straight to the government. Since it was near to the 1940 election and FDR and the democrats didn't want any sort of press to encourage a dissent, they squashed it and held it over Prescott to shut him the F up.
