I always thought ambergris was whale barf used in cosmetic. Oh well wrong end

Depends on the size of the lump, I believe - big lumps of ambergris are vomited, small lumps come out the whale's arse. I wonder which the whale prefers?

@Jnei theres probably a couple of times it wished it just puked.
